Renee Willhuber joined Siemens in January 2009. Renee holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. He specialized in the fields of Accounting and Controlling.
Renee started his professional career at Siemens as one of the founding members of the Global Share Programs department. In 2009, Siemens decided to implement a global all-employee Share Matching Plan and he was responsible for the implementation in around 50 countries. Until end of 2012, Renee headed the HR consultancy, plan administration and communications department within the Share Programs team being responsible for the entire portfolio of global Share Programs (i.e. Long Term Incentive, Share Matching Plan, Share Ownership Guidelines, Rewards & Recognition).
In 2013, Renee moved on a 3 years secondment to Singapore where he was heading the regional hub of Compensation & Benefits for approx. 5,000 employees. In this leadership role, he was responsible for a broad range of C&B topics, i.e. development and implementation of various flexible benefits schemes and a total rewards statement, definition of regional pay philosophy / design and salary structure / salary bands, development of business specific sales incentive schemes, senior management position evaluation
In today’s leadership role, Renee holds a strategic responsibility for Managing Board remuneration, the executive performance management and compensation review processes. Furthermore he is heading the global Top Executive & Equity Compensation Innovation & Digitization department which aiming to create seamless user experiences in an omni-channel employee portal on equity and executive HR processes while fostering new ways of working and shaping the transformation of teams.
